VIB Workshop Tracks

The Veterans in Business Conference strives every year to provide some of the best networking in the industry, as well as to bring you relevant, useful workshops featuring expert panelists whose experience and insight will help you start and grow your business.

The Reconnaissance Track is designed for small businesses that have little or no experience in federal procurement and/or business ownership. These workshops offer a broad brush from experienced professionals on the aspects of creating a successful veteran owned small business.

The Deployment Track is designed for veterans who have already broken into the federal marketplace and are seeking knowledge to grow. This track brings seasoned veteran owned contractors and prime contractors in as presenters to inform and inspire owners as they seek to grow their federal procurement businesses.

New for 2017 - Special Session!

2:00-3:00PM Veteran Small Business Owner Panel: With an annual procurement budget of over $500B and set-asides of 23%, it would seem the federal marketplace is ideal for small business start-up and growth. Join us as Veteran small business owners discuss the many opportunities and challenges (from working with a new administration and getting contract ready; to LPTA and program/budget cuts) to doing business with the government. They will also discuss their experiences using the many small business set-aside programs including SD/VOSB, WOSB, 8a and the new All Small Business Mentor-Protege program.
